JOB HIRING: Finance/ Admin Officer

POSITION TITLE: Finance / Administrative Officer


Responsible for the following:

  1. Setting up of payroll systems and other financial processes.
  2. Preparation of payroll including remittances to government agencies (SSS/PHIC/HDMF/BIR/SEC)
  3. Recording and reconciliation of financial transactions and preparation of financial reports of the organization
  4. Maintaining the organization’s books based on existing general accounting & bookkeeping standards. In charge of documentation, filing, and records keeping of administrative and financial transactions, and dealing with government agencies for registration, permits, and renewals
    1. Administrative transactions
      1. Statutory requirements (i.e. registration, permits, renewals)
      2. Personnel records, payroll reports 
      3. Organizational operations Records
    2. Financial
      1. Required financial reports
      2. Payroll reports (finance related)
  5. Providing administrative assistance to the consulting accountant
  6. Prepare other internal or ad hoc management report as needed
IMMEDIATE SUPERIORThe Executive Director 
  1. Background
    1. Administrative background
    2. Accounting Graduate/ Finance Background
    3. Certified Public Accountant is desirable but not required
  2. Working Experience
    1. With at least 1 year of administrative or financial work experience
  3. Working Conditions
    1. Work from home (but must be Manila-based)
SalaryPhp 15,000 – Php 25,000.00
Work ArrangementA flexi-time, work-from-home and output-based working arrangement is generally followed. Given this arrangement, the employee is also expected to be accessible via different communication means from Monday-Friday — not including Regular Holidays, Special Non-Working Days, and other non-working days proclaimed by the government and should render a total of 40 hours worth of service or equivalent output

Full time. However, the employee will undergo a 6-month probationary period and will be evaluated prior to regularization.
