Development and effectiveness of fully automated conversational agents (chatbots) for enhancing public mental health: From pilot study to randomized controlled trial

Additional Oversight Principal Investigator and Project Officer I
Salary P65,101.20/ month (SALARY GRADE)
Location Metro Manila, work-from-home. Only applicants in the Metro Manila area will be reviewed. Though remote work is the current set-up of the project team, the successful applicant should be available for face-to-face meetings, events, and other project-related tasks should public health measures allow large group gatherings.
Working Arrangement Full-Time (Output-based)

Monday to Friday, not including Regular Holidays, Special Non-Working Days, and other non-working days proclaimed by the government. Non-exclusive

Contract Period and Terms November 2021, until September 30, 2023.

Two (2) years, fixed-term. Only applicants who can commit to the 2-year project will be reviewed.

Position Overview
  • Actively leads the day-to-day implementation and operations of the research project
  • Holds the overall coordination in project direction, deliverables, reports, and other support services. 
  • Ensures that project deliverables are timely, complete, and in keeping with the project’s Data Safety and Monitoring Plan, its key obligations to the funder, and its regular reporting to the Ethics Review Committee.
Training and Qualifications
  • Graduate degree or relevant work experience in project management in the health or health-related sector
  • Experience in research operations: coordinating, gathering, preparing and presenting data, planning and organizing research-related activities
Desirable Skills
  • Degree in social and behavioral sciences, public health, or another health-related field
  • Familiarity with mobile or web-based mental health technologies
  • Familiarity with Philippine-specific mental health issues
  • Familiarity with local, regional, and national healthcare systems
  • Familiarity with non-profit research culture, network, and administration
